Hey, my name is Bill. I came to Dr. Barras to get a routine cleaning and asked some questions as we were going along. I noticed that my teeth were not as good-looking as they used to be, for example. I had worn down the enamel on the front of my teeth, and so there’s a little white bow at the bottom. They showed me the pictures inside my mouth. My bottom teeth had actually dug into the backside of my upper teeth. I knew something wasn’t right. You couldn’t see my lower teeth whenever I’d close my mouth, and this little line right here was much more pronounced. So I started talking to them about it, and that’s when I figured out what TMJ was. I didn’t know what it was. Basically, I’d cracked several of my molars because I clenched down on my teeth and my teeth had started to actually roll in. It’s not that I didn’t take care of them, it’s just that I clenched and broke them all. Dr. Barras hooked me up to all these various equipment and did lots of measurements, and it was, I guess, maybe a… Probably a six-month process from end to end. I obviously have a whole different smile now. My little line right here isn’t as pronounced, and so I don’t look like I have triple chin anymore. Overall, it was great. Dr. Barras is a perfectionist. If something you think is just good enough, he’s like, “Yeah, no. We’re going to fix that as well.” He’s a great guy. I don’t know that I’ll say I enjoyed the experience, but I actually have. It’s been quite easy to go through, and the staff here has just been really great. So I’d highly recommend Dr. Barras and his staff for any sort of similar issues that you might have.
