Porcelain Veneers Houston
If you have gaps in your teeth, broken and crooked teeth or severely stained teeth, porcelain veneers may be right for you. A veneer is a light, thin tooth colored shell that is fixed to the front of your tooth. Veneers look just like real teeth. The procedure is a great cosmetic option for those looking for a smile makeover.
If you’re considering porcelain veneers, please give Houston Dentist John Barras a call. You can schedule a free consultation at either of our two Houston locations.
Q. What is the difference between a veneer and a crown?
A. A crown will cover the entire tooth. A veneer will only cover the front visible part of a tooth. The procedure for getting veneers is easy and doesn’t take a long.
Q. Do I have to get veneers on all my teeth?
A. No, it is not absolutely necessary. However the procedure is usually done on the entire smile line for uniformity.
Q. If I have stained teeth, should I do teeth whitening or veneers?
A. This is a case by case decision that Dr. Barras will discuss with you. While both will whiten your smile, they each have a different process and cost. Based on your teeth and your goals, Dr. Barras will give you his recommendation.
